Fibromyalgia Patient Information Session
It hurts all over, and you frequently feel exhausted. It is not unusual that after numerous tests, a doctor can’t find anything specifically wrong. If this sounds familiar, fibromyalgia may be to blame. Dr. Ellen Thompson an anesthesiologist and chronic pain expert in Ottawa, recently headlined a patient information session on fibromyalgia at the Delta Ottawa Hotel and Suites in Ottawa, which was attended by over 100 individuals, and provided practical information on identifying and managing this often misdiagnosed disease. Joining Dr. Thompson were Ottawa South resident Brian Armstrong and Westboro resident Kenna McCall, who have both lived with fibromyalgia for over 15 years.
