Profiling: Sushigo
Sushigo Glebe has a new owner, Marc de Repentigny, and he encourages everyone - sushi lover or otherwise - to visit his shop for a fresh and healthy experience.
Marc, a 12 year veteran of the service and entertainment industry with the Casino Lac Leamy, has a deeply ingrained passion for providing the highest quality service and a penchant for paying attention to the little details. These traits, along with a great, fresh sushi and non-sushi menu, are helping him build a great relationship with, and strong brand in, the Glebe.
Marc admits that making the jump from being an employee to business owner, with all its added responsibilities, was nerve-racking but the caring Glebe community has made him feel very at home.
To repay the support he's received so far, Marc has helped other new businesses, such as THANN, by catering their grand openings. In the future, he also plans to get involved with Taste in the Glebe and to support various charities.
