Go For Guide Dogs
The Go For Guide Dogs Fundraising Dog Walk & Dog Social was held on Sunday, May 30th. The City of Ottawa had waived the “No dog bylaw” for this special day at Andrew Haydon Park. It was a 4-kilometre walk of the park, followed by a dog social and barbecue. This event was for all people and dogs with funds raised directed towards providing professionally trained guide dogs to the visually impaired.
