Cancer Foundation Telethon

In mid January, many Ottawa organizations, businesses and individuals joined together to help support the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (ORCF) Telethon and raised a whopping $4.3 million.
Hosted at St. Laurent Shopping Centre and emceed by A Morning hosts this event was positive, uplifting and overwhelmingly successful.

ORCF President, Linda Eagen announced, "We rallied together on Sunday and raised $4,362,615 for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. That money will be used to help increase cancer survivorship in our region and ensure local residents have the best care close to home, access to new therapies and research, shorter wait times for diagnosis and treatment and overall improved quality of life!"
