March of Dimes Take a Seat Event!

On January 19th, the “Take a Seat” event kicked-off the March of Dimes upcoming Door-to-Door Campaign. CTV News Anchor Max Keeping and Dominic D’Arcy, “The Singing Policeman” were in attendance, along with numerous other guests, donors and March of Dimes staff and supporters. The March of Dimes Door-to-Door Campaign is the longest running campaign of its kind (1951) – and Ottawa is the largest and most successful city. Check out these fine folks as they “take a seat” in a scooter or wheelchair and complete an obstacle course, to raise awareness of life with a physical disability and highlight the importance of March of Dimes’ programs and services.
