2009 National Capital Regatta
During the weekend of August 15th, the 2009 National Capital Regatta (NCR) was held at the Britannia Yacht Club (BYC). To add to the excitement, the Ontario Fireballs Association held their Ontario Championships and the 2008 Kiwanis Idol winner, Regine McCamus performed during the dinner hour on Saturday. Visiting the BYC was like dropping in at a friends cottage without leaving the city. They have sailing, tennis, swimming, kids camp, club house and of course, socializing. No matter what the season, there's always something going on at the BYC. Stop by and check it out.
