2008 August > POWE, Power Three years ago, the POWE organization began in Toronto. Two women, Lia Bandola and Tina Dezsi, saw a need, initially, for the women of Durham Region to meet on a regular basis. Four months ago, the Ottawa chapter began and continues to grow. Even in the heat of the summer, women get together to network and shop. I`d like to introduce you to a few women from the July POWE meeting (see pictures).
