2008 August > Yarn Forward Introduces New Sewing Machine Do you remember the days when sewing was part of the Home Ed course. My sewing machine does a straight stitch and a zig zag, I have a straight foot and zipper foot, it's a pretty simple machine.
On July 3rd, Yarn Forward & Sew-On held a party to lauch it's new Husqvarna Designer Diamond sewing machine. Joanne Raven provided a overview of all the wonderful things the Diamond can do and then while everyone had the opportunity to test the machine, others sipped non-alcoholic Champaign and nibbled on Chocolate Dipped Strawberries and Nuts. This fabulous machine retails for $8499 and does everything but make you coffee - actually, it lacks a clock! With the touch screen, you pick the stitches, sizes, fonts, needle size, it has warning sounds, red light warning (for when the kids are being to loud and you can't hear the sounds) and much, much more. Drop by and give the Diamond a try. The staff at Yarn Forward will be pleased to help you!
