2008 August > Alcatel HOPE Volleyball BeachFest
The world’s largest beach volleyball tournament hit Mooney's Bay for the 26th time this July. There were 10,000 players and 20,000 spectators on the beach with the temperature reaching 28C. HOPE pumped up the event a few more notches by providing six continuous hours of live entertainment from its main stage featuring prominent headliners like A Plot Against Me, Sojourn, Thornley and 54-40. Since its inception 26 years ago, the BeachFest has raised more than 5 million in support of over 100 local charities. Check it out!
