Authors Roslyn Franken, Frank Hegyi and Jackie Holzman are eager to work with other Ottawa cancer survivors

Call for Cancer Survivors

Proud cancer survivor and Ottawa resident, Roslyn Franken, author of The A List: 9 Guiding Principles for Healthy Eating and Positive Living, is co-author of a new book project titled, “Challenges of Cancer Survivorsâ€Âť. The book concept, development and publication is being led by Frank Hegyi who is also a cancer survivor, as well as the other co-authors including Ottawa’s own Max Keeping and Jackie Holzman.

As cancer survivors themselves, this team of authors believe that living with cancer is challenging, but cancer can be beaten! Early diagnosis, diets and healthy lifestyle are all important elements for surviving cancer. But, the most important way of reducing the number of persons dying with cancer is by finding cures through medical research. Hence, this book is being written in order to give newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families hope and moral support by sharing stories of survival as well as an easy reference guide. Profits of this project will be donated to cancer research to support cancer patients and medical research.

As fellow cancer survivors, the authors would like to invite you to help them in their project by sharing your story of how you have coped with the challenges of living with cancer.

To participate, please contact Roslyn Franken at info@roslynfranken.com. Please share this invitation with those you think may be interested.
